A collection of 145 games and 4 problems by Pollock together with a brief biography and some other articles. William Pollock was best known for appearing in the Hastings 1895 tournament where he beat Steinitz and Tarrasch amongst others but he also played in many strong tournaments in the 1880s.

He was born in England, became a surgeon in Ireland and moved to the USA before returning to die in England at the age of 37. In English Descriptive notation.
