This is a new edition of volume 3 of the series which offers an opening repertoire for White, after 1.Nf3, based on the praxis of former World Champion Vladimir Kramnik. This 2nd edition analyzes opening systems after 1.Nf3,c5; with the exception of the Hedgehog and Maroczy Systems. Part one of the book examines the English Four Knights System (1.Nf3,c5; 2.c4,Nf6; 3.Nc3,Nc6; 4.g3) whilst part two covers the English Opening without an early ..Nf6; for Black (1.Nf3,c5; 2.c4,Nc6; 3.Nc3,e5/g6/various;).
In the ten years since the first edition of this book apeared many new ideas have emerged, for both sides, which means that the author's recommendations for White's repertoire have altered to reflect the latest developments.
