Boris Gelfand

Boris Gelfand has been one of the world's leading Grandmasters for about 15 years, since taking 3rd place at Linares in 1990.

For this book he has extensively annotated 51 of his best games, played between 1986 and 2004, revealing the thought processes which Grandmasters use in deciding their strategy. There is a special chapter of games with the 8.Rb1 Grunfeld in which Boris is an expert. The book also includes a brief biography and chapters featuring some of Boris's best combinations and endgames.

With opponents such as Kasparov, Kramnik, Anand, Adams, Short and Shirov amongst others you can be assured of some high quality chess and analysis in these pages. A well written and produced games collection of interest to all chess lovers.
