At the time this tournament, held in Moscow, was the RSFSR Championship but was named as the first USSR Championship after the creation of the USSR in 1922.

The book features 15 pages of articles on the championship from Alekhine, Ilyin-Zhenevsky, Levenfish and Bohartyrchuk and 52 of the 120 games, many with notes from a variety of Russian, Polish and other sources.

The Championship was won by Alekhine, ahead of Romanovsky and Levenfish.

Published 2021, stapled booklet with plastic cover, 43 pages.
