Botvinnik's Complete Games 1924-1941 and Selected Writings (Part 1)

Botvinnik's "Analytical and Critical Works" was originally published, in Russian, between 1984 and 1987 and consisted of four volumes. The first three volumes contained annotated games and have already been published in English in the "Botvinnik's Best Games" series.

For this English edition, volume four has been split into three parts, of which this is part one. It consists of Botvinnik's collected writings plus his known games from 1924-1941, (except for those already included in the "Botvinnik's Best Games" series) with annotations by Botvinnik where available.

When all three parts of volume four are available, the resulting six volume series will be a complete collection of Botvinnik's game annotations and writings.
